VAN DUZER VINEYARDS

THIS IS THE TAGLINE

This large AVA, north of McMinnville at the foothills of the Coast Range, has a rainy microclimate protected by the Chehalem Mountains to the north and the Dundee Hills to the east, as well as ancient marine sediment and quick-draining soil.

Saffron Fields Vineyard sits atop renowned Willakenzie soils. The site’s microclimate is consistently very warm, which tends to produce exceptionally ripe fruit. Wines originating from this vineyard are renowned for their dark red fruit notes and massive presence.

Kalita Vineyard was planted in 2000 and sits at an elevation of 650 feet. Thanks to the relatively high elevation, the wines tend to retain bright fruity aromas well balanced by acidity.
