The Estate Series embodies the special character of our site and our conviction that wines should be accessible in style as well as in price. Expect wines brimming with fresh fruit aromas and flavors and accented by notes of spice and earth. A sip reveals Van Duzer's signature bright balance and rounded tannins, pleasant by the glass and complimentary of food dishes.
With the 2005 Estate Pinot Noir, the telltale whiff of violet and fresh picked basket of red and black fruit flavors persist across vintages. Yet the 2005 Estate Pinot Noir evokes a finesse and complexity that reminds one of the highly rated 2002 and 2003 bottlings. The smoothed tannic structure seems perfectly proportioned to the subtle play of floral notes, fruits and sweet spices that slowly reveal themselves to the senses.
A beautiful dark red garnet color meets the eye as the nose detects aromas of ripe red fruits and a subtle interplay of blackberry and black cherry. Complex spice notes derived from the Dijon clones and French oak barrels mingle with floral notes of violet and purple jasmine. This is not an astringent or aggressive wine, rather, soft textured and sommthed tannins greet the mouth. Integrated spicy oak marries with the fruit to carry through on a moderately long finish. $360/case, $30/bottle
In 2007, the Pinot Gris vines produced mature fruit redolent of pineapple and peach. A flinty edge to the fruit, a common thread across Van Duzer vintages, adds interesting bite to the underlying medley of stone fruits and yellow grapefruit. $16/bottle, $192/case.
Dijon clones assert themselves in this Pinot Noir-based Rosé, adding aromatic depth and rich body to our perennially clean-finished Rosé. A full basket of guava, strawberry, cherry and raspberry flavors touched with hints of spice. $16/bottle, $192/case.
A wonderful introduction to Van Duzer Pinot Noir. Featuring a unique label, the Vintner's Cuvée is made from some of our newer plantings on the estate. Aged briefly in oak barrels, the Vintner's Cuvée provides abundant fruit character in a highly approachable wine. $240/case $20/bottle

Paired with cheese, roasted nutmeats or bittersweet chocolate at the close of a meal, Van Duzer's fortified Pinot Noir-based port provides a sweet counterpoint. Memorable for its deep dark red color and concentrated mulberry and black cherry aromas, the Windfall in this port is the spice-cabinet accens of fresh nutmeg, star anise, white pepper with just a hint of eucalyptus. 18% alcohol.
